Plocido / McKinley 07.04.14

The Local Motion Hair Design team had a 4th of July that started with a BANG!  Our salon family was honored to be a part of Will McKinley’s and Laura Plocido’s wedding day.  Angela, owner of Local Motion and Will’s aunt, Stephanie, stylist and cousin of the Groom and Breanne, Esthetician and cousin of the groom were all a part of the bridal party.   Stylists Stacie, Anna and Courtney did an awesome job making over all of the bridesmaids and transforming Laura into a beautiful bride.  The Junior Bridesmaid, Braelyn Arnold and the Flowergirl, Ayla Werner looked absolutely adorable!

The bridal party enjoyed being pampered while munching on fresh fruit, Panera bagels and champagne and orange juice.  The team of stylists got started at 9:00 a.m. and had the bridal party out of the salon and ready to be in Cranberry to get dressed by 2:00 p.m.

The ceremony took place at 4:00 p.m. at St Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. The bridal party was outfitted in beautiful navy blue chiffon gowns from Alfred Angelo while the guys looked handsome in their matching tuxes from the Men’s Wearhouse.

A reception followed at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, Pennsylvania.  The evening was just perfect with awesome food and drinks, tear-jerking toasts and entertainment with up-lighting and dancing provided by our very own Craig Lawrence, of Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment.  The bride and groom, the Local Motion team, as well as many family and friends from both near and far danced the night away.  Craig played lots of patriotic songs, including Katy Perry’s “Firework”, and guests got to enjoy a beautiful view of fireworks displays which could be seen both far and wide!  It was an amazing evening and an awesome 4th of July!

The new Mr. & Mrs. McKinley will be honeymooning in South Carolina and residing in Butler.  We wish them the very best in their future as husband and wife and thank them for allowing us to be such a big part of their special day.  Congratulations guys, we love you!
